YUMA, Ariz. – First up is Aloha. This tan calico cat is a little shy at first, but warms up quickly. Brought to the shelter in September, she is estimated to be around three-years-old and about 12 pounds. She enjoys walking around and exploring, but unlike a lot of other young cats, she is pretty calm, so if you’re looking for a cat that just likes to lounge, she’s your girl!
Next is this brown and white spotted dog named Dom. Dominic Jones is his name, “Dom” for short. This two and half year old house trained pitbull has a lot of energy. He’s great with other dogs and kids and just needs a family that has the space and time for him.
For unknown reasons he can be a bit hostile with men, but it really just depends on the individual.
If you are interested either Dom or Aloha, you can call the Humane Society of Yuma at (928) 782-1621. They are open Tuesday through Sunday.
